Phyllis Simmons
I was born and raised in Billings, MT and graduated from Billings West High School. My husband, three girls and I reside in Laurel, MT. I have worked with Dr. Patterson since 2002. My job is scheduling patients, answering phones, and handling accounts and insurance. I love spending time with my family and friends, as well as getting out on our motorcycle!
I enjoy working with Dr. Patterson, and working in the dental field. I enjoy our current patients and meeting new patients. The atmosphere in our office is professional, as well as relaxed. I love coming to work each day!

Sandy McCaffree
I graduated from college in 1978 and began my career in the dental field. As an RDA in Sacramento, CA, I specialized in periodontics and implant surgery. After 20 years in California, I returned to my home town here in Billings and joined Dr. Patterson in 1998 as administrative and hygiene coordinator.
I am married to Ed McCaffree, and we have six children and five grandchildren. I am an avid big game hunter; I love to fly fish, camp and travel. My passion is photography and our recall cards are designed around my photos. I look forward to retiring and traveling with my husband.
I chose the field of dentistry through the encouragement of my orthodontist in California, and it has suited me well. Dr. Patterson is a hoot to work for! He is kind, gentle and funny. I believe in his care standards for all of our patients. You should hear him sing!

Amber Hunter
I graduated dental assisting school in 2000 from El Paso, TX. I started assisting in New Mexico, and I began working with Dr. Patterson after moving to Billings in February 2004.
I have been married to Traver for eight years and have two young boys. I enjoy boating, camping, outdoor work and spending time with family and friends.
I really like being able to help people with any problems they may be having, along with making them feel comfortable.
Dr. Patterson is a great fit for me to work with because he is very caring and understanding of patient’s needs. I fully stand by his work ethics.

LaVonne Christianson
I have been a dental assistant for 21 years. I graduated from Sheridan College in May of 1992 and began working with Dr. Patterson in August of that same year.
I really enjoy working in the dental field and seeing people have healthy smiles at the end of their treatment.
I am married to Mike and have two children—a boy and a girl. I enjoy yard work, boating, camping, traveling & reading, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Patterson is a joy to work with and makes his patients feel comfortable while achieving their dental needs.

Robert Castro
I received my dental hygiene degree in 2006 from MSU-Great Falls and started working at Dr. Patterson’s office in 2007. I also received a B.S. in Biology from MSU-Billings and obtained a wealth of medical experience, having worked at St. Vincent Hospital for 10 years as an emergency room technician. I am licensed to administer local dental anesthesia and certified in CPR.
I am the youngest male in a family of 20 children. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, as my home serves as one of the main gathering places for delicious home cooked Mexican meals. I enjoy working in my vegetable garden and sharing the harvest with friends and family.
As a dental hygienist, I enjoy the instant gratification patients receive after getting their teeth cleaned. One of the things I like most about working at Dr. Patterson’s office is being able to work with patients of all ages and offering them great dental care.

Sara Solberg
I graduated from the dental hygiene program at Sheridan College in 2009 and have been working for Dr. Patterson since December of 2012.
I am married to Mark, and we have an American bulldog named Lyla. We enjoy running, biking and skiing.
I love working in the dental field because I like being able to help patients achieve optimal oral health.
I like working for Dr. Patterson because he cares about every patient’s different oral needs.

Ellie Bicha
I graduated from the dental hygiene program at MSU-Great Falls COT in 2004. I’ve been practicing dental hygiene for nine years (with seven of those years at Dr. Patterson’s). I enjoy welcoming new patients into our office and getting them started on a pathway to great oral health in a gentle, caring and thorough manner. I also look forward to maintaining a great working relationship with Dr. Patterson for years to come. I’ve enjoyed raising my family here in Billings since 2006. We take pleasure in camping and swimming in the summer months and sledding in the winter, and we recently added a new member to the family: Harley, our one year old Goldendoodle.
